Travelling solo, this journey combines exploration, science, and conservation - a real-life Pokémon adventure - to catch sight of every last one, on a trek across the globe, and meeting and supporting the people who are trying to save them on the ground.
With the rapidly worsening climate crisis, intensifying geopolitical instability, and time fast slipping away, the opportunity to explore the last wild refuges of these incredible species is fading fast.
